Christantus Uche Fuels Straightforward Crystal Palace Victory at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their maiden continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are learning very quickly. Without key figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually guarantees them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further three points in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to seal straight entry to the knockout stages, particularly after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This match offered a chance for several Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in succession.

After the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest several individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, only to see his shot blocked.
