The EU could “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it calls “unwarranted” travel bans imposed by the US on five Europeans involved in combating digital hatred and misinformation, an EU official has said.
European Leaders Condemn US Action as ‘Coercion’
European leaders including the French president accused the US administration of “coercion and intimidation”, following the travel bans targeted individuals that were central to campaigns to introduce laws governing US-based technology firms.
